The Little Mermaid… and days lately

Our little renegade (aka: Avery) has found that ice makes her boo-boos better. So anytime she bumps anything.... she goes off to the freezer to "put ice on it".... 
The funniest part is when she hits her head, for example, she says "sorry, sorry, sorry....." then she runs to get the ice...

Bruce had to work a race one Saturday morning, and Silas and Avery (and me!) love leisurely Saturdays where we stay in PJs as long as we want... Avery apparently has seen this somewhere... and Silas is repairing his chair...

This same morning, we enjoyed painting outside!  Leonardo Davinci or the Ninja Turtle?? 

And... Silas and Avery attending Prep's production of the Little Mermaid. Here is one happy (and starstruck!) boy with me in the orchestra pit: 

After the matinee production, we attended the tea party where the kids could meet and greet the principles of the play.  We had a blast!

We can't forget that Mimi came too!! 

It took a few minutes to warm up and get the nerves to take pics with the students in costume... but after a few minutes (and mommy going with them at first), that fear was gone! 

This was super prep for DISNEY!!!!   We're leaving on the 19th of November and are counting down the days!!!
