Happy Resurrection Day!

What an awesome day to celebrate our Risen Lord!

"I love my new shoes. I love my new shoes. I love my new shoes!"

"I am so beautiful. Watch me turn around in circles and show you my lovely dress!"

There's my cute buddy in his seersucker suit!

Finders Keepers!

Silas and Avery enjoyed many an egg hunt Easter weekend. The first stop was the FBC Madison campus where they gobbled up Chick fil A before the hunt.  And obviously did some serious posing for the camera:

The first hunt was, according to Silas and Avery, a fun time to run around in circles in a big field.  We gathered a few eggs to take home as souvenirs so Mommy could enjoy some of the candy inside and decided to try again in the yard at home.

How many eggs can I hold at once? Bet I can hold more than you Silas!
Starting to get the idea...

Always posing.

Thanks to Mimi, we love nature walks!

The second Easter egg hunt was an eggstrordinary eggstravaganza.  About a hundred adults and kids gathered in the yard of a sweet (and brave!) churchmember's house.  After hearing the real Easter story, we hustled to find all the eggs.

somebody's excited!  (and poor thing, allergies are kicking this sweet boy's tail.  hence the swollen eyes)
But itchy, watery eyes couldn't stop the little man from tackling the yard full of eggs!

Gotta make sure I have an empty bucket to fill up.
Snack break...

This time, Silas caught on to the idea... (while Avery was too busy fraternizing and socializing)

By the time we made it to the third egg hunt in our neighborhood, the camera-man and camera-lady were too pooped to snap any more pictures.  But it was super fun too.

The Final Four

As everyone knows, Bruce is a little bit of a Kentucky Wildcat. Okay, maybe more than a little. When he opened the tickets from the UPS package, he didn't really sleep for days as his excitement mounted.  And, I must admit... we've been to the SEC tournament several times which is an amazing, fun atmosphere... but this was another level.  Over 75,000 people in the Super Dome (Mostly in royal blue shirts between all the UK and KU fans. It seemed like all the ladies had on white jeans too.  Before Easter. C'mon people, follow the rules!  But I digress...) hooped and hollered the entire game. Now, I love basketball too... and these were seriously some of the most talented athletes I've ever watched in person.  What a fun weekend!

True definition of being giddy. ("Make (someone) feel excited to the point of disorientation")

Congrats, Kentucky on an incredible season!
