Mom, Grace and I spent the weekend celebrating life and wellness at Canyon Ranch in Miami, FL. It was a total splurge, but worth every penny... and we've decided to make the girls weekend getaway a yearly thing (on a smaller scale in future years, of course). We flew out Friday afternoon and arrived that night to plush slippers, robes, and chocolates on our pillows... oh, and a view of the Atlantic Ocean. My, my, we were living it up! We spent some time on the beach Saturday and shopped in Miami Beach that afternoon before dinner. Sunday was "spa day" as all three of us were pampered all afternoon. Monday, before we left, we were able to drive to Coral Gables and see University of Miami, where Mom spent some time in grad school. She's always wanted to go back to walk on that campus and I'm so glad we were able to do that with her!

Bruce did show me that teeth were brushed at least once over the weekend...
Just kidding - Bruce did a fantastic job by himself with them all weekend. They were greatly missed!
